Lore Mage

Classes: Mage
Requirement: You must have Cunning and Magic 3 or higher.

You have learned the rare art of Lore Magic.

Novice: You are considered to have any cunning focus which includes Lore in the title (Arcane Lore, Cultural Lore, Historical Lore, Military Lore, Musical Lore, Natural Lore, Poison Lore and Religious Lore). Should you already possess the focus or learn one later, add a bonus of +1 to all rolls using them.

Journeyman: You can take a Major Action to study an opponent and make the appropriate Cunning roll against a chosen enemy. If you make the DC based on the Adversary threat level you will know the Spellpower, Favored Stunts, and Special Abilities of the enemy. Knowing this information lets you see the enemy’s weaknesses and the Spellpower of the spells you cast increases by 2.

Master: You can speak with aspects of the fade in order to answer any one question you should have about any topic. The answer will be stronger is it is asked in an area that has seen the information you are requesting. But be warned, those Lore Mages that have asked about certain things have had major repercussions from blindness to insanity or death.
